Moving to our Accommodation
Moving into a new home comes with its challenges as young adults may have some anxieties when going through this transition. As a result of this we aim to ensure that they are welcomed and supported to settle into their home as quickly as possible. Individuals are given welcome packs that consist of basic food starter pack and complimentary personal starter pack, which is made up of Bedsheets, duvet covers. towels, dustbin, laundry basket, Hangers, clock etc. Complimentary personal care pare includes basic toiletries like sponge, soap toothbrush and toothpaste.
The house is a mixed gender, 24-hour hours staffing. Set in a safe residential zone and It consists of a communal space with well fitted bedrooms. It is located close to local facilities which includes shops, hospitals, library and has a good link to transportation.
The house is also designed to provide young people with a cosy environment while ensuring while ensuring they are able to develop independent living skills in a supportive environment.
They young adults have access to:
A fully furnished individual room with a bed cabinet, wardroom, and lamp. We also recognise and are aware of privacy and security in safeguarding the needs of young adults. In addition, each young person has access to the use of communal Bathrooms, kitchen units, lounge, and garden.
Our Services
We also encourage young people to access education, employment, and training where necessary whilst providing stationary packs and clothing to ensure young people are equipped on first day of their arrival.
